This section provides information on the Forensic Science Regulator (the Regulator). The Regulator is a public appointee whose function is to ensure that the provision of forensic science services across the criminal justice system is subject to an appropriate regime of scientific quality standards.

United Kingdom Accreditation Service Forensic Awareness Workshops
The awareness workshops, which are fully supported by the Forensic Science Regulator, will offer a good opportunity to gain an understanding of the accreditation process and the requirements of the ISO17025 and ISO17020 standards.

Forensic Science Regulator's Report
